During the summer of 2007, The August Company General Contractors, built the first Vitruvian Mountain Home in the Lake Tahoe area. Note that the snow on the roof will not melt, even though the occupied home is kept at a very cozy 70 degrees. Don't worry, this structure is designed to handle even heavier snow loads.

Due to the efficiencies of the Vitruvian system, this building was completed in only 6 months and under budget, making for a very Merry Christmas. We measured the electricity consumption of this 4,000 square foot house at 26% of equivalent structures in the same area.
